​Upon entering the beautiful staircase with its original ornamental terrazzo floor and exquisitely designed entrance doors, it was clear that these elements would guide the composition of our design.

 

In order to preserve the Wilhelminian generosity, we had to rethink the room layout and visual axes and, in particular,

the solution for the water supply to improve the position and proportions of the bathrooms and kitchen.

This was achieved with the partial installation of a double floor.

For us, this is a successful example of combining historical building culture with contemporary requirements.

 

Custom-made fixtures and fittings in a perfect symbiosis of materials create a deep sense of timelessness and coherence and thus form the basis for a contemporary interior.
