When designing a house for the same clients for the third time, collaboration feels effortless and natural. We had the opportunity to renovate this house for a family with two teenagers in a straightforward decision-making process. The two flooring materials - aged parquet from Dilegno and Castle Stone flooring - played a significant role in bringing the project to completion.
Initially, the relatively low ceiling height seemed like a flaw. However, combined with these materials and the panel doors, it created a "Cottage" character that feels clean and contemporary. The contemporary, minimalist furnishings enhance the airy and spacious feel of the rooms while also creating a cosy atmosphere that changes with the seasons.
