A half-timbered barn from the 19th century was transformed into a garage on the ground floor.
The room above has a floor area of just under 45 square meters. However, more than half of it is below the 2-meter line. Therefore, only 20 square meters count as living space.
The idea was to create a self-sufficient guest apartment there. We had a special pleasure in this extraordinary task.
By organizing the bedroom and bathroom along the high inner wall, these rooms now feel spacious, even though they are actually quite small.
Custom-made fittings for the small kitchenette and wardrobe utilize every corner of the sloping ceilings.
The dominant design element is the medium-gray color tone, which recurs in every room and creates a sense of expansion.
